The Berri township’s water supply is managed by a government organisation that works hard to provide trusted water services to more than 1.7 million South Australian customers. They provide safe, clean drinking water, and once this water has been used, they remove the waste and treat it to ensure the best outcomes for your health, and to reduce environmental impact.
Water infrastructure requires a lot of ongoing work to ensure a convenient, safe and plentiful water supply is provided to the community. Be it natural wear & tear, or the growth, of the local population, there is a regular need to replace pipes and pumps. This can be a complicated task because new equipment often needs to be modified to connect effectively to old and obsolete equipment – sometimes even made out of no longer used materials.
MayFab assesses each task on a case-by-case basis to design and engineer the most efficient, cost-effective and long-lasting solution. This project often requires complex and certified welding of Duplex-grade stainless steel, as well as custom pipe spooling. Other tasks are infrastructure upgrades and new equipment installation.
